Comments: John Roseland, my neighbor, was wounded at the Punchbowl while serving in the USMC. He believes he was wounded on September 13, 1951, possibly the 12th. He was a BAR man when he was hit by shrapnel in the arm and leg. After many months in a hospital in Japan, he returned home and on ship met up with others from Easy Company. He mentions Sutton, Simmons, and Bob Ogden. John would like to know what hill he was on when he was wounded, he believes it to be 749 but is not sure. He was wounded around the midnight hour and the rest is a blur. If any of his buddies are out there and can remember John I would like you to contact me. John has been trying to write down his experiences and knows little or nothing about the buddies he left behind when he was wounded. My hat is off to you vets who served our country so well. Thank you just does not seem enough.......Myles Dymacek, Lincoln, Nebraska

Comments: My father served in Korea from 2/52 thru 2/53. I know he fought near Panmunjom during the fall of 1952. Hoping to contact anyone who may have served with him. He is living and doesn't know the where abouts of the men who served with him. His name is Alfred Everett Bakken and he grew up in Minnesota. Thanks!
