Comments: I have a friend by the name of James(Jim) Burge who served in the A/1/7 from Sept.-52 to Nov.-53. He is very tall and was a B.A.R. man. Came over on the Marine Serpent and came back on the General John Pope. Remembers the Sgt. Malacky and a Oheagon from his unit. If anyone has any info on his unit please reply. Thanks!

Comments: I maintain the data base of the 1st Bn 7th Marines Association (Korea 1950-1953). We are an informal group, no officers, no bylaws, no dues, no nothing but getting together every couple of years to become reaquainted with old frinds have a few, tell a few lies and just have a good time.
Our last reunion was in Palm Springs (29 in 99) with a day spent at 29 Palms with the young Marines of todays 1-7.
Our next reunion is in May of 2001 in Branson MO.
If you are not curently a member of the association please drop me a line so we can add you to our mailing list.

Comments: Looking for anyone who was in C/1/7 and on "THE HOOK" Oct. 26, 1952. I was there and was wounded. I can recall 2 names. A black marine BAR man named RUMMAGE and a white cpl named HOFFERT. I was also a cpl at the time. We were hit pretty hard that night and I ended up on a hospital ship in Inchon harbor. Any one who was there please reply. rsmith73@bellsouth.net
