I also have my dads year book from Paris Island when he entered Jan 22 1952. This book is for anyone who was in Paris Island between Jan 22 1952- March 5-19 maybe 6-8 weeks.Second Battalion platoon #'s 73 my dads, 76 and 89.I would be glad to look up a name if requested. Keywords: from what dad told me he was in 3 battles. RENO, CARSON and VEGAS. He served in the 1st Marine Division, 4.2 Mortar, 5th marines.He was an ammo carrier and a Topographical Surveyor(Foward Observer). |

MARINE DIV FMF Service or Relationship: MARINE VETERAN Comments: Looking to get ahold of anybody who served with my uncle Robert Leroy Corbett. He served with the 4.2 Mortar co,1st Marine Divison FMF In Korea from 1951-52. Records show he died during the Battle of Pam-Bu-Ri. Keywords: Looking for Buddies of Uncile Robert Leroy Corbett With the 4.2 Moartor Company of the 1st Marine Divison FMF. In the year 1951-52. Of the Korean War. My father doesnt tell me much about him and what he did. He served in korea and japan, he also made payroll deliveries overseas. I dont know his rank exactly but he was rather high up. He was also part of admiral birds expeidition to the antarctic. Just wondered if any one had any information on him. Thanks.
