Lawrence (Larry) Simmon and I am looking for anyone who may have served with him (1949-1951). My Mom was only 2 years old when he was killed, so we don't have ALOT of information about him and his time in the service. He was a member of the Air/Navy Gunfire Liaison Company, 1st Signal Battalion, 1st Marine Division. He was the pilot of a F4U-4 Corsair fighter from Marine Squadron 312 aboard the USS Bataan. If there is anyone out there that served with him I would so appreciate anything you could tell me about him. Thank you in advance.
