Leibold. The vast majority of the photographs are of a personal nature (i.e., 'downtime' of G 3/7 Marines and Corpsmen, and assorted glimpses' of off-duty hours around the compound), while others' are of a much more official, and therefore graphic, nature (i.e., the O.R. during the standard workday, and Med-Evac helo arrivals). I would like to share these photos with visitors to this webpage, but am unsure if it is possible (or officially permissible) to scan them to the site. I will welcome all suggestions on the matter. Last, my deep appreciation to the owners' of this site, and, of course, my everlasting love and gratitude to the men of lstMarDiv., 1950-1953. God bless each and every one of you and your families. LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON CORPS. TED PAILLETTE (SP?) |
| TODD DEGABRIELE wrote on June 5, 2002 City and State: Unit: Service or Relationship: FAMILY MEMBER Comments: I am looking for information on Corpsman Ted Paillette. I am not sure if that is the correct spelling of his name. He went through medical training with my father and went to Korea. He was possibly KIA in Korea in 1952. His name does not appear on any KIA rosters however. It did appear on a 1st MarDiv "honor roll" posted sometime in 1950 of which my father has carried since then. I am wondering if there was a mistake and Ted might still be living. My father has had survivors guilt since 1953 when he returned home and his buddy did not. I would like to close the loop on this issue for him as he is getting up in age. Any information at all would be helpful. Thanks Keywords: |
