Comments: I am particularly looking for people who were with E/2/1 on the night of September 5, 1952. One Medal of Honor and two Navy Crosses that night. Easy Company was back in the rear in reserve, but got loaned to the 3rd Battalion for that night. They were sent to Bunker Hill and the Chinese hit them with 8 or 10 waves. I should have been there but had been sent back to NCO school. I want to write up what happened and see to it that the Historical Branch gets it in the record. Comments: I just found this web site and am looking for anyone from the 1st Marines, 1st Division, 2nd Battalion, Fox Company who was in Korea between Feb. 51 to March 52. I was as hill 749, and hill 812. I was known to many as 'Mother Bender'. I tried some emails that were given to me, but found that they were not current. I hope to hear from any fellow comrads.

Comments: From notes I made after coming to from head injuries and lots of surgery from loss of brain etc. Sgt Costello was Plt Sgt of the 1st Platoon of Easy Co. I have note was wounded, but do not find him listed in casualties for that time period. Would like to contact him and see waht he remembers re the assault on 749, Heliocopter ammo run, etc.

Comments: My uncle, Andrew Vincent Panella, was KIA in Korea on November 12, 1950. He was a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton. My Korean War history is a little shaky, but I think that he was in the landing at Inchon and fought in the battle over Seoul very early in the war. As you can see, he died only a few months after the war began. My father has told me a little about my uncle, but I wanted to see if there were any memorials to Korean War casualties. Comments: Hello, I am looking for anyone who may have known my father Gerald Stouppe. He was originally attached to !st Platoon, 1st Service Batt. 1st Reg., 1st MArine Div. but went to the hill (bunker hill) after volunteers were asked for. The 1st had taken a hard hit in August and he chose to go. He was out of Barstow California and worked motor transport before that. On the night of August 23, 1952 while under heavy fire he was WIA and lost his leg at the age of 19. If anyone should remember him or know anything about him,stories atc. plese let contact me. My parents divorced when I was young so I never got to ask about the stories of what happened. My sons and I are attempting to get to know and understand what he went through. Comments: Looking for my platoon sgt. from Camp Lejeune N.C.,Marine Staff Sgt. Wade. He was a wounded Korean war vet., whom I admired very much.I don't know what outfit that he served in, in Korea. He left Camp Pendelton 8/13/50 Left Kobe, Japan 9/9/1950 Assault and seizure of Inchon 9/15 Capture and securing of Seoul 9/17-10/7 Participated in the Wonsan-Hamhung-Chosin campaign 10/26-12/15
