Comments: Just wondering if anyone happens to know what the 816th TCS emblem (Patch) looked like. Did they maintain the 816th Bomb Squadron patch or create a knew one. Also if anyone knows where I can find a 816th Patch or has an image of one it would be appreciated if you could share it with my unit. We are deploying in the summer and will be under the name of the 816th EAS SrA Justin Martin 16th AS DOLM

Comments: Lt. Jim Irvine was a pilot who was in the class '52H and was later trained on C-119s. He was with the unit from very early 1953 until a little after the war ended and then joined M.A.T.S. His health is not good and he is dying. If anyone knew him and would like to talk to him one more time please contact me. Sam
Keywords: Jim W. Irvine was in the 5th Air Force, 816th troop carrier squadron.
