Comments: My dad served in Korea...and while I was cleaning out some of his stuff I found a Mosquito patch and my search lead me here. I know his last duty station (I was 12) was at Dover, flying C-141s for MAC. I just got his dd-214 and decorations from the US Veterans Affairs office and I am building a shadow box to memmorialize his service.

He also says "If anybody remembers me, go ahead and give me a call." Last name is Walton, Nickname "ted". He says also "I'm sorry we didn't have enough to give second helpings on SOS."

Comments: My father Lt. Severinsen served in 1953 at Kimpo Air Force Base. He brought home 1 hour of 8mm movies(no sound). I recently converted this film into a DVD/documentary. Since my father was an Iowa farm boy many of the scenes are about the local farmers. However there are many shots of USAF aircraft and a unique trip to the HMS Sydney Aircraft carrier stationed in the Yellow sea. The aircraft shots are very interesting. Also included are several still shots of life on the base. All set to music from 1953. I will go out on a limb here and offer a copy free to anyone who is interested(within my limitations).

Comments: Hi there, I am looking for A/2C Merle Mason, who served with my father, Bill Massey, and found a little girl in a ditch in January, 1953. I am hoping to find information about my father's time in the service so I can prove he earned the medals he said he did for actions taken in March, 1953. I need to prove it so I can have the commendations etched on his headstone. My email is mtwriter@mt.net. Thank you and God Bless.

Finding Aussie buddy
From: James Donahue
Date: Aug 9, 1999
Ted, I was with the 67th TAC RECON SQAD, and got to know Dac Ramsey
(spelling) as a friend in the ausie club, to make a long story short he
took me for some very interesting rides in his airoplane on several
occasions, and for a few years we wrote to each other and for some
reason we stop. There is a lot of fond memories, and if possible I would
I would like to have contact with my hero the flying SGT., K-14, Kimpo,
Korea.
Thanks Jim 1951 to 1952

Hi -
My name is Daren Robertson. I am writing on behalf of my father.
My father tells me that he served with the 67th Rec. Tech. Squadron
during the 1950's.
He flew out of Yokoda Air Base, Japan. His full name is Ivan Eugene
Robertson, and held the rank of Master Sergeant (6 stripes). He flew
mostly E.C.M. missions. If there is any information that you could
send to me about this squadron, or possibly any information I may
be able to send on to you, it would be appreciated.
I have a number of photographs of my father while he was stationed
in Japan during his 3 years there. He tells me that he flew
well over 300 E.C.M. missions.
Thank you.
