Comments: Looking for Bobbie? Humphreys? (spelling). He was my tent mate and a radio operator by assignment. Now and then he would help me operate the MARS Station for our daily QSO's with San Francisco. Bobby also was a flight cadet in Arlington, TX prior to 1957. That didn't pan out. In 1958 Bobby lived in the Dallas, TX area. Have not had any luck finding him. Maybe someone out there knows of him and can get us together, unless he has passed on. Fred Gloschat, K7KTV

Comments: I was at Kimpo (K-14) and during my 11 month tour there from July 1951 Through June 1950 we regularly recieved visits from Bed Check Charley
In September 1951 he dropped a few of his morter rounds on our "tent city" Actual damage was light but some of my buddies recieved schrapnel wounds.

Comments: There is a web site dedicated to the history of the 67th. Wing and especially the 15th. TRS of the 67th. TRW at Kimpo, K-14. It covers the years of 1951 through 1954, with yearbook info. Some great photos to look at contributed by former members.
Take a look at this URL

Lt. Col. (Ret) John Duquette, has really done a great job with his web site, for us that served there, in those units. the 8th/15th. and neighboring units of the 45th., 12th. TRS and the 77th. Australian Squadron.

They were stationed with me at K-14. So far we have 12 67th alumni we are in contact with. Would like to have a great reunion so contact me if you would like to see your "OLD" Buddies.
