Ridgeway, who took over the ground forces after Gen. Walker was killed in an auto accident. I can only find references to him. More specifically, was General Ridgeway the one who visited a German cemetary with President Reagan in the 1984-86 timeframe? I remember the comment that he was the last survivor of the great WWII field generals. Keywords:
