INFORMATION ON TSGT. GEORGE CHIC

Comments: I am interested in finding out particulars of my Dad's
service career in Korea. He's been gone now for
several years and recently while going through his
ribbons and service information, I was surprised to
discover among his WWII ribbons, three Korean War
ribbons. Sadly, I didn't even know he served in Korea
and I know he'd never have ribbons he hadn't earned.
The ribbons are for, a Korean Service Medal, the
second is for a United Nations Service Medal for
Korea, and the 3rd, is for a National Defense Service
Medal... all of which he could not have gotten in
WWII. Also, the 3rd, National Defense Service Medal
I even found the actual medal for, so he must have
served when it was given out in the 1950's.
Anyone who remembers USAF TSgt. George Chic, please let
me hear from you if you find a moment or two...Thanks
His son, Patrick
