Comments: I was stationed at Itazuki just prior to returing to the states. My wife was pregnant at the time. We transferred from Det 7 no medical facilities at the site capable of caring for her. Lived off base at 300 Kasugibaru. Have a lot of good memories about Japan and my tour.

Comments: My dad was a/2c. He was stationed at Fukaka and worked on an island 25 miles from there. It seems Col. David terry and Lt. Olen Taylor were his commanding officers. Dad enlisted in Kessler AFB June '52 and discharged Robins AFB in June '55. He also played ball for the "Robins Flyers". I have many photos to share with anyone interested. Additionally would like to find information about 4 medals he was authorized for, but never received.
