The main wharehouse in St Louis had a fire yrs ago and their records of him were lost. The govt is doing a search with no results so far..so im just wondering if anyone knows of him, remembers him etc...please email me with anything!! lizortiz1974@yahoo.com THANK YOU!!

Comments: My dad, Orval "Jack" Cooper died in 1974 in Amarillo Texas. I have 2 children who do not have anything showing him or information about him such as photos, letters, anything. His brothers/sisters (my aunts and uncles) have refused to provide me with anything. I would like any photos or information that might be found. I would like something to show them about their "grandpa Jack". Thank you.

Looking for Jack V. Peek

Comments: Looking for anyone that knew Jack V. Peek, who retired as a Major USAF in 1965. He was a young soldier in the Phillipines in 1941-42 when the Japanese took that country. He was POW for over three years in Japan. After he retired he went to work for Garrett Engineering Co in Phoenix. He died Dec 8 1996 in Scottsdale Ariz. I am trying to locate his burial place among other things. Apparently he was a member of the 523FES.

Arr Korea Dec 1950 on aircraft carrier, from Bergstrom AFB,Austin,Tex. First
F-84,s in war zone. Turned into ftr/bmr. Believe Col. Bertram shot down first
Mig 15 by an F-84. Lt. Kratt later bagged 2 more. Unit left Korea May 51. A/C
left behind for 136th FBGp.

Lt.Col. W. Bertram while flying a mission with 523th Sq. Shoot down a Mig 15.
I believe This was the first mig bagged by an F-84. Also a Lt. Kratt bagged
2migs and aYak. The 27th's A/C were left in Korea and were used by the 136th
