Comments: I would very much appreciate some information regarding Korean War Vetrans; especially with respect to the 4th fighter squardron.

My dad is getting very old and I would like to replace his medals/uniform to give to him before he dies.

I tried to contact the Congressman that represents his area (last year) when he enlisted but to no avail. Being in Canada, it is very difficult to get information.

My dad has dual citizenship (Canadian & American) but the Americans do not seem to be helpful. He served for the USAF and I have his service # etc.

My dad was born in the US and went to war for them but being so far away it is difficult.

He has no, dare I say, relics/artifacts of his service (fire in 1961 and a move) but I would like to be able to give something to my daughter AKA his grand daughter.

Dad does not talk about the war but I have managed to get a letter from him giving me permission to inquire etc.

Would somebody please help me.

Sincerely,

John Edward Nolan

Comments: Dave Richert, I was stationed at Kimpo along with Jabara, Lonnie Moore,. Col Johnson, Col Royal N Baker, any many others. It was the bast of times and the worst of times. The 334th, 335th, 336th FIS squadrons were the best of the best. On one particular day the 4th FIS shot dowb a record 52 Migs. The majority of the MIG pilots were russians. E-mail me sometime and lts takl.
