Comments: I am looking for men who were in the 49th Air Police Sq. in 1956 at Misawa AFB. Just curious as to what some of the other guys are doing these days. Drop me a line and we can hash over old times.

Thanks, Bill Powrie

Comments: I played on the Misawa Jets baseball team with Don McPhearson during the 1957 season. Been searching for a team photo and any other photos taken during the season, including spring training at Kadena AB, Okinawa, Yokota AB, Johnson AB, and others. Don is the first person in all these years that mentioned that he played for Misawa. I would appreciate any photos that someone out there might have. If you can't reach me by email, please go here for my personal web site and sign my guest book. I will get back to you. www.warhawk1940.com

Thanks.

Comments: Captain J. A. "Jake" Aiken was my uncle by marriage. He passed away several years ago, while retired and residing in Idaho. He is survived by his widow, his 2 sons, and his daughter.

Comments: At Misawa from Dec 55 to Nov 57. First worked for Maj. Burdette in Base Education Office then transferred to Air Police Sqdn as overhead personnel. Worked in Orderly Room with Lt. Hampton, Sgt. Byers and A/1c Procyck. Had a 75250 AFSC and was supposed to "retrain" prisoners at Base Stockade. CO Capt. Aiken said that was a waste of time and made me Training NCO. I did have a part time office in a wall tent at the Stockade but was mostly in the Orderly Room Played baseball for the Misawa Jets in 56 and 57. Would be great to hear from any of the AP guys or the baseball guys.
