Comments: I was at Tachi during the summer of 1955. I went to all of the Red Devil baseball games. I remember a center fielder named Joe Dugan, and the catcher was John Nizolek. Does anyone remember more. They had a VERY good team. I heard after returning to the ZI that they won the Far East Chanpionship.

Comments: I am interested in hearing from anyone that served at these locations during this period of time.

Keywords: I flew as a Flight Engineer on C-46-s out of Brady AFB and also flew as a scanner on C-124's out of Tachikawa AFB from 10-1-52 to 6-15-53. I flew into K-18 the morning after we lost a c-46. We picked up part of the belongings of the flight crew. I understand that this plane went down due to a bomb that had been planted on the plane. Does anyone know of this accident?

Comments: First Lieutenant Robert C. Bowerman was aboard a C46 enroute from K 18 to K 3 when it turned up missing. We understand that his remains were never recovered. We would like to put his kin in contact with USAF Missing Persons Office. He was said to be from Aberdeen, WA. Anyone out there knowing whether First Lieutenant Bowerman had a spouse, children or siblings. If so, please let me know what you know so that our search for kin might be successful.
