FILLING IN FAMILY HISTORY |
| JUDI STOKER wrote on June 27, 2010 CITY AND STATE: UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: FAMILY MEMBER Comments: My father, Colonel Bryant Y. Anderson, was stationed in Chitose in the mid 1950's (I was born in '62 after they returned to Virginia). I understand he was Commander of the 339th FIS. I am interested in hearing from anyone who knew my father, or any of my family members there, and would very much be interested in hearing your stories (Mom - Lurley, brother - Cappy, sister - Vicky, brother - Greg was a baby). My father died in 1991 (preceded by my mom in 1987) and since I was only in my mid-twenties, I don't know the stories or the names of any of the folks in the many pictures I have. I would very much appreciate hearing from you. Keywords: friends |

| RICK LORENZ wrote on February 17, 2009 CITY AND STATE: UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: INTERESTED PERSON Comments: I'm attempting to build a roster of 339th Fighter (All Weather) Squadron F-82G Twin Mustang night fighter aircraft from Johnson AB, Japan about 1950-52 or thereabouts. I need airframe serial numbers, the name of the plane (ie, "Lover Boy", etc.)painted on the fuselage side, and the single digit tail number. Pilot names connected to the aircraft would also be helpful. Photos or copies welcome. Rick Lorenz Keywords: Johnson Airbase Japan 50's F-82G Twin Mustang Night Fighters |
