Comments: My dad (deceased) was Joe Wells. All I know is that
he was an H-19 pilot there from June 1954 to June
1955 and he helped to train Korean pilots.

Would love to hear from you so that I can learn more
about the forgotten war.

Keywords: was first assigned to the 581 air resupply Sqd at K-16. When the squadron was deactivated we with 4 Choppers were transferred to 2157th Air Rescue which was just across the street. I was crew chief on H-19A 884 while I was there.I went to several of the k-sites that rescue had at the time. If I remember correctly my pilots name was Robertson

Comments: I was at K-16 from February 1953 to February 1954 in the 2157 Air Rescue Squadron. I was a crew chief on an H-5 helicopter. Looking to find anyone that remembers/was in that squadron.

Comments: I was in 2157th ARS, K-14, Korea, from October, 1955 into 1956 when the squadron de-activaded, then on to K-18 for the remainder of my tour. Most others went to various squadrons within the 3rd ARG. Would like to hear from anyone serving there at that time.
