| RALPH HAWKINS wrote on January 6, 2006 CITY AND STATE: TAMPA FL UNIT: 19TH COMBAT CARGO SQUADRON SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: AIR FORCE VETERAN Comments: I was a radio operator on a C-46, based at Brady Field near Fukioka, Japan 1952-53. I was briefly stationed at Tachikawa, Japan before our unit was moved to Brady-a rustic site-no permanent buildings, a pierced-steel runway, no PX or other amenities. However, we had an excellent record of supporting the troops in Korea. Keywords: C-46, Brady Field |
