| JACK KIMMICH wrote on May 19, 2002 CITY AND STATE: SALINAS CA UNIT: 501ST MOIS SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: FAMILY MEMBER Comments: My dad's never talked about his work but lately was wondering if he was the only one left. He is 72 and in excellent health, I'd like to see if anyone remembers him or if he could refresh friendships with old buddies. He flew as a medic, transporting wounded to Japan I remember him saying something about the 501St M.o.i.s. But i'm not sure what unit that was. He was in the Air Force, Left Korea in 1949.
