I was walking along the row of hangers on my way up towards headquarter. One of the hangers rear door was open and I saw a RF-86F. It was unusual because it had nose art. It had an Al Capp cartoon on it and the character was a little round figure with stubbs of hair on top and little arms and legs and named "The Bald Iggle." Does any one remember that bird. This was late in 1954 I think. I'm a model builder and I would like to build a model of it, but need the serial number. For your 15th Recon Squadron members the Air Force Museum now has a RF-86F on display. I believe it is in the markings of the 15th. Roger Warren Keywords: RF86-F Sabre |
