ANYONE REMEMBER MY OLD UNIT? |
| ROBERT QUINN wrote on September 26, 2003 City and State: SAN DIEGO CA Unit: 10TH RADAR CALIBRATION UNIT Service or Relationship: AIR FORCE VETERAN - KOREA Comments: I was stationed at Yokota from Oct.1951 to Sept.1952. I was assigned to the 10th radar calibration unit as a A/C Mechanic. We had 4 B29s which flew over Korea, calibrating our ground radar sites every day. Our barracks were the old building near the main gate, our hangar was next to the Weather sqdn. I well remember the 98th and many of the Aircraft logos. Keywords: |
