Comments: My father, Reginald J Wilkes served with the 25th Royal Canadian Ordnance Corp in 1951-52 in Korea. He supported The PPCLI and the R22R (Vandoo's) as a supplytech/driver. I am trying to locate a Korean translator he became very good friends with and eventually ran into a mine field to rescue him. After "Kim" was take to the nearby aid station (nationality unknown - location unknown) my father lost track of him. To this day my father talks of this man and wonders if "Kim" survived. If anyone has served with my father or knows of this "Kim" gentleman and his status, please e-mail me with any details, I am trying to arrange a reunion with the man my father saved the life of. Thank you, Peter Wilkes Canadian Navy Medic
