Looking for information about Lt. L.W. Duffy

Comments: I was living in Hawaii a few years ago and bought a used book, and the other day I was going through it and found a picture of Lt. L.W. Duffy. I am an old navy boy myself and thought that someone could help me with some info. I would like to get someback ground on him and if posibable send it back to any family that he may have. It looks like and old ID card and may have some value to his family or him if he is still living.

Comments: We had lots of memories there in the Hangar beside the control tower. We had the old wood barracks close to the hangar, then moved into the new barracks close to the out door movie I was stationed there in 1959-1961. When Hawaii became a State we painted the new United States of America Flag with 50 stars on all the R6-D s and the R5-Ds. Any one heard from Collins ADR1 , he worked in the paint shop with me along with Guidry.

VR-21 Hawaii 1963-65

Comments: Stationed at NAS Barber's Point from 1963 to 1965 after boot camp. Worked in Flight Operations Office and was also air crewman (Flight Orderly. I worked for Commander Duran and Lt. Strawman. I saw a lot the Pacific from 10,000 feet. Would like to hear from anyone who was there.

Found solid silver ice bucket

Comments: Hi: While looking thru a antique shop this week end I came across a silver ice bucket with the following inscription engraved on tne outside. CMDR. G.F. Rice VR-23 San Diego Calif. 1949 I wonder if the owner lost this in move or it might have been stolen. This bucket must have great memories and personal value. Thanks
