Comments: My father's name is Charles Leo Nagle. He would have gone by Charlie, Chuck, or Doc. He was a Chief in 1954 at Whidby Island and went to the Marshall Islands for Operation Castle. My father died in 1975 from multiple meyeloma. He was only 49 years old. A few days ago I asked my mom for the family photos for a paper in which I have to write about a personal photo. I picked one of my dad and the back of says Feb 22, 1954 Ebeje Marshall Islands. This is what has started me on this search and now I am going to try to retrieve my fathers records. I would appreciate any information that anyone has. I also would love to talk to someone who knew my dad. My email is debbieterhune@mac.com thanks, Debbie

Comments: Assigned VP-812 then to VP-29. Went to Atsugi NAS and flew with crew 6 as 2nd radar. Back to Whidby then to Kwaj. for Operation Castle. Flew as radar with crew 2.
