Comments: I have been a military aviation historian / contributing editor / writer for over 40 years. This has led to my having numerous books and articles published. You can get on line and go to either www.amazon.com or www.google.com and where they ask for "search", type in Warren Thompson. Currently, I am writing a book on the F4U Corsair in the Korean War. I would like to hear from anyone that served in VF-23 during that era.
