As usual, we had a great time. Just great. The reunion in 2006 will be in Astoria, Oregon hosted by Dan Neuhauser. It too promises to be a great time since he has hosted one previously in Portland. He served on this ship sometime between 1952 to 1956, he served on the USS Pelican also. He told me that he was on a ship that hit a mine; and that he was one of three survivors.
