LOOKING FOR OLD FRIENDS OF MY FATHER |
| REX SHRUM wrote on August 1, 2005 City and State: Unit: COMMINEPACK 111 Service or Relationship: FAMILY MEMBER Comments: I know this is a long shot, but worth a try. My father Glen L. Shrum was on one of the mine sweeps during Korean war. Not sure which on, but I seem to remember him speaking about the Swift. Have some photos of time there. My father left Korea and returned to states and served in Com-mine pack 113 until he was transfered to the Admiral Barges as Skipper and retired in 58. So, if any reading this remember him I would sure like to hear from you. Thanks for you help, Rex Shrum Keywords: |
