Comments: My Father, Gene W. Little served aboard the CA71 Quincey in WW2. He was laid to rest near Wilson Arkansas in February of 1989. I have his Tokyo Bay witness card and his copy of the Quincey's Odyssey. Just thought someone who knew him might see this and remember a shipmate from years gone by.

Comments: Have quite a few pictures and volumes of information on all reunions and gatherings of both CA39 and CA71. In the process of establishing a Sons and Daughters website for family members of those who served onboard the Quincy. My father was elected by CA71 committee to head up the reunions up until this year 2002.

Comments: Sadly, I report the passing of John H. Wilbeck, USN (ret.). He died in late September, 2001 and was scheduled to be buried at sea. My uncle John served aboard the Quincy during her recommissioning in WA, as an EM1. I am proud of my uncle and his service to the United States Navy aboard the Quincy, the USS Lyman K. Swenson and the USS Mispillion.
