Comments: Father is Donald W. Bilodeau. Recently passed away. Unfortunately, Body is being held hostage in Probate Court while we wait to determine if I his only daughter is sole heir or if "A common law wife" is. In the meantime I am searching for documents, photos or anything that maybe of interest to my family and fathers friends so that if and when we are able to hold service we can share some of his great past in serving our country.
Thank You and God Bless, Robin Rose Bilodeau Spence

Comments: RM 2 with the flag, calls sign P3U9 L5S7 and served 6 months on each ship out of Sasebo, Japan and set off of Pusan with 90 of us in communications handling material for all representatives in Korea. Remember the Piedmont for "Red Rider" Captain passed over. Had us on water hours, holly stoning deck, and bugs in all the food. Threw all the food out one night and cooked and entire new meal, Admiral of Flag, things got a little better. Anyone remember that?

Comments: I served on the Piedmont as a Radarman from 1950 to to about 1954. I would like to from George R. Johnson, James Ely, and Joe Feldt (Felt). Our immediate officer was Ensign Richard Parfitt, the most intelligent, admirable, and honorable officer I met during the Korean waw. Our first class petty officer was Robert Crowley, fair minded and smart. Homer DeVan whose was a fellow radarman died a few years ago.

Comments: I was on the Piedmont with ComServRonThree during period of 54 to 57 years. The Staff rotated from ship to ship. Included the Hamul and Dixie as well. I was a court reporter/transcriber for the Admirals during this period. Left Sasebo in Aug. 1957. Want to contact anyone who remembers this time frame or the events we lived. Special trips to Hong Kong and Yokusuka.
