Comments: I have several artifacts from The Piedmont when my father served - a small ashtray and a very heavy ship plaque cast iron mounted on wood with Doc on it carrying a ruck sac and holding a torch. I believe he provided legal services for the sailors aboard ship. I would like some details or even photos if anyone has them or remembers serving with him. Sadly he passed away in 1995.

Comments: I am trying to find info/photos of the inside of the ship ,uss piedmont /friends/shipmates of Aaron Isom,, he says his nickname was "mr. peabody". Anyone who remembers him please write me at joseeiam@hotmail.com . His pctures were destroyed and I am trying to find info for him. Daddy is in fairly good health, 75 yrs. old . Comments: My father is Dr. Steve Bailey and he was on the USS Piedmont I believe in the late 60s or early 70s. I'm secretly trying to find out if anyone remembers him or has a story to share about him. He was a dentist who played on the basketball team. He is now in the early stages of Alzheimer's Disease and I'd like to put together a book of things for him to look at and remember in the later stages.
