Bowen is my friend and neighbor who served aboard the USS Piedmont from 1950 - 1953. He had a temporary additional duty (TAD) aboard the USS Halsey Powell DD 686. Paul would like to reconnect with anyone whom he served with to share memories. Paul is not good with computers so I am helping him with this. He has given me a few names - Red, George Burnham. I believe he provided legal services for the sailors aboard ship. I would like some details or even photos if anyone has them or remembers serving with him. Sadly he passed away in 1995. Remember the Piedmont for "Red Rider" Captain passed over. Had us on water hours, holly stoning deck, and bugs in all the food.
