| BOB DOBRES wrote on November 26, 2011 City and State: LINDENHURST NY Unit: RADIO ROOM Service or Relationship: NAVY VETERAN Comments: I served as chief radioman on the philip from 1954 - 1957. I was only member of crew from New York and my buddy Bill Herr a yeoman was only member from New Jersey. We blockcaded Inchon for awhile and sailed in the Japanese seas most of the time. It was a good ship, an excellent destroyer and earned the big E on its stack. Keywords: |
