He also mentioned another naval person (Ted Marshall ??) who fell overboard during a storm while out at sea.

Dickinson, "Bob", who served aboard the USS Montrose from 1965 to 1969 as a diesel mechanic, passed away in Flagstaff, AZ on Jan 6, 1985 due to an inoperable cancerous brain tumor. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, a son, Robert W. Dickinson, and a daughter, Bonnie Dickinson, all of Flagstaff at the time. Currently his wife can be reached at 1921 Northeast 9th Avenue, Oak Harbor, WA 98277. His son Rob currently serves in his 14th year in the Navy aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. Keywords: USS Montrose
