THOMAS BARTO??? |
| KRIS BARTO wrote on July 26, 2004 CITY AND STATE: CHARLESTON SC UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: FAMILY MEMBER Comments: My Grandfather was a crewman on board the USS Laffey, but unfortunately I do not remember what the number of the ship was. His name was Thomas Barto, and he was a veteran of the korean war. I do remember being told that he was on the ship for the longest ship to shore battle of the war. It would mean a lot to me to find out which ship he was on and if anyone remembers serving with him. Thanks a lot. Keywords: |
