Comments: Long days and nights, port and starboard watches, no port calls to top off, USNS TAO, Long Enterprise replenishment, but then a hoot of a liberty in Montego Bay. Lots of good folks who made it happen. Anyone remeber Rickert, CS2? This chow's fit for a King. Here King Here King. How about the port call in Quebec? Good Libs. Best to all, Don Edgar (ETN3 then)

Comments: I just found this site and remember that my Dad, who died in 1996 and was class of 1930 USNA, was Captain of the Henrico [and the Kankakee] in the '50s. I remember dependents going on the ship to drydock in Hawaii in 1954 when I was in grade school. There were 1500 marines on board and as the captain's daughter I had such a "safe" time at sea ... If anyone knew Dad, I would enjoy corresponding and learning more about him.
