Comments: I served aboard the "Hoop" as an ETN3/2 from 1954 to 1956. I'm looking for photos of the ship that might help me build a scratch model as it appeared during that period. Can anyone help?

Comments: I served on the USS Hopper Island from 1951 to 1955 and one of my friends was Dennis Theriault I was wondering if anyone know where he lives I would like to get in touch with him. I was a commisary Man on the ship The ship was still in commission when I got out of the Navy in Aug 1955.

Can anyone help me find the location of the USS Hooper Island ARG-17 and
the USS Navasota AO106.

I would appreciate any web site information about these two ships. And
if anyone knows where these ships are located today. I severed on the
Navasota in the Korean war from 52-55 and would appreciate your help.

Ted,

I have located the Navasota it's in moth balls in California but I have
no information on the Hooper Island. If anyone can help locate the
Hooper I would be grateful.
