Comments: I am grateful for serving on this ship with a great crew of men. I was very young and learned so much. I cherish the memories of times well spent. Thank you to those who were there!

Comments: I served aboard HOIST from '79 to 81 as Executive Officer. I made 2 Med crusies and 2 trips to the carib. The sailors on HOIST were some of the best I have served with. They were a hard working group in spite of any adversity that arose; of course this was standard of the men in the Salvage Navy.

Comments: Looking for those aboard the USS PCS 1387 stationed in Key West ,Fl. around 1952-1954. We have had 6 reunions and can't seem to find the rest of the guys. So far we have had about 16 guys and wives and great times. If you were aboard, contact me so we can get together with the rest of the guys. I know you are out there and we want to swop sea stories.
