| SHAREE HORN wrote on December 16, 2001 CITY AND STATE: LANCASTER PA UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: FAMILY MEMBER Comments: I have to say that my grandfather was the best man I have ever known in my life time. He was a very smart man, he knew everything there was to know about sports. I love him very much and I miss him very much too. My grandfather passed away resently 3-3-01. It has been very hard on everyone in my life. I am writing because I think he should be remembered. He served in the Navy on the USS Lewis Hancock for 3 years. When i would go to his house he would always tell me stories about being on the ship. And I took that for granted, beacause he always used to say the same stories over and over again, and now I miss that very much. Life is to short. Live It and Love It. Keywords: None |
