He was discharged from the nave in September 1951. I have been told he was aboard the USS Halsey Powell DD686 During the Korean war. I would like to hear from any of his shipmate or any old Navy buddies he had. He finally will talk about his time in the Navy now that I'm older, I have two sons who are very proud of their Grandpa and all the men who served.It would mean alot to me to do this for my Dad.
