Saw Chief Parker BTC while on freeway outside of Chicago in 1972. Also saw Chief Howard DCC at FRA convention in Des Moines, IA in the 70's. I believe the RM rate has been discontinued. My dad, Lee Stockinger, was a Chief on the Firedrake from 1954 to 1956. I believe when he left the ship some of the people he worked with gave him a .22 caliber target rifle. That was his last tour of duty at sea and he remembered it fondly. He retired from the Navy in 1959 and died in 1983. Keywords:
