HMCS NOOTKA |
| GERALD MASON wrote on February 2, 2003 CITY AND STATE: BURLINGTON ONTARIO UNIT: ROYAL CANADIAN NAVY SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: UNITED NATIONS VETERAN - KOREA Comments: I was a radio operator on HMCS Nootka in 1952.. I spent a couple of days onboard "Firecrest" while in the operational area. I just wondered if anyone on Firescrest remembers. I spent time onboard sending radio messages while the Destroyer went elsewhere..It was hoped to dupe the locals in that the destroyer was still there. Keywords: |
