VERY FIRST CREW OF USS ETLAH AN 79 |
| LORRAINE MAPP wrote on March 6, 2003 City and State: FREELAND MD Unit: Service or Relationship: FRIEND OF VETERAN Comments: Does anyone know if any of the very first crew members of the USS Etlah AN-79 still exists (WW11)? My employer, Clyde Morris, is one of the first crew members. It would be great to connect him with his Navy buddies. Thank you. SEEKING COMMANDING OFFICER |
| ROBERT MOSER wrote on November 4, 2000 City and State: QUILCENE WA Unit: COMMINEPAC Service or Relationship: NAVY VETERAN - KOREA Comments: I served under Lt. Commander W. S. Locheim (spelling may be wrong) aboard the U.S.S. Etlah from 1957 to 1958. I would very much like to know if he's still alive and well. I remember him fondly. He and his wife gave my first wife and I a baby shower in Yokosuka, Japan, where we were stationed. Keywords: |
