MOORE wrote on January 8, 2012 CITY AND STATE: UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: OTHER Comments: On June 1,1952, a F4U-4 aircraft Bu.No.82163 of Squadron VF-113 off of the aircraft carrier USS Philippine Sea-CV-47, was hit by enemy AAA fire, and ditched in Wonsan Harbor.
