Comments: I went to VietNam with MAG-36 in August 1965. I went by Ship,The USS Comstock LSD-19. The Comstock ,Droped us off at Chu Lai.where we hit the beath.Never forgot The Comstock! "Thanks for the ride NAVY"

Comments: I have been looking for DuWayne Breault for year's and to day a friend that I work for part time found this Web sight and who's name showed up one and only DuWayne Breault. We went to class ( A ) metalsmith school 1954 and 1955 We both went aboard the USS Comstock LSD 19 after school in 1955. I stayed on for 42 month. Got off in June 1958. DuWayne e-mail me ASP

Comments: I am a Chief Petty Officer and my father (James Diestel) and his buddy were stationed on the Comstock during the Korean war and are trying to locate some old friends but can't remember most of their last names. I am trying to find out some information on where I could get maybe a copy of the deck log or any other information on how I could help him locate his lost friends. I would greatly appreciate any information anyone could give me in helping him. Thank you
