ABOUT CHARLES FINCH |
| MARLENE LIEBIG wrote on September 28, 2002 CITY AND STATE: MODESTO CA UNIT: SERVICE OR RELATIONSHIP: FAMILY MEMBER Comments: Hi. I am the daughter of one of the naval crew of the Sperry and I know about your relative. My Father wrote a Korean War Diary and mentioned Mr. Finch on that fateful day. I was re-typing my Dad's diary for him to share with his fellow crew members who meet annually for a dinner/commemoration to remember the Korean War Vets of the USS Charles S. Sperry. I've notified my father of this web page and he will probably be contacting you. I know this page is a couple of years old, but I though I'd try it anyway. If you want to contact me, I'd be happy to give you any other information, and even share the diary of my father with you. Keywords: Charles S. Sperry DD-697 headed for Korea |
