Comments: My grandfather-in-law was the Supply Officer on the USS Biloxi. I have heard the story about the unexploded bomb from him many times. He said that the bomb went through the galley. In the funny story, he said that the captain over the intercom called him and told him that there was a clean up needed in the mess hall... Meaning the bomb.. Very funny. He has a picture of the hole the bomb made and a few people in the pictures.
