ROBERT MITCHUM USS BAIROKO SERVICE1950-1953 |
| PATRICIA SEIBERT wrote on July 29, 2011 City and State: GA Unit: WG MAURER COMMANDER Service or Relationship: FAMILY MEMBER Comments: Wondering if anyone knew my dad Robert Mitchum. Maybe called Bob. My dad was a really great man and he died when I was 13 yrs old. I never had the opportunity to hear any stories of what he went through while proudly serving his country. If any one here did know him, somehow I'm sure y'all remember each other well. Now that I am old enough to understand what serving our country means I know it was something he kept with him inside always. Please help me know more about a dad that was taken too soon.
