My father in law who is now 80 years old is a veteran of the korean war. he was a diver in UDT groups 101 and 107. he has ask me to help find him one of the old decoration pins that has the lettering of < UDT 101 or UDT 107> on it . He says they change this pin when they made this group the seals. He is ex prisoner of war and retired from 33 years as a firefighter here in Georiga.His name is Bobby Jo Koonce of loganville ga. Comments: I was wondering if anyone on here might have served with my father, Robert Edwin "Bob" Rawls? He passed away in november of 01'. I believe he served from 1948 to 1953. He never spoke much about his time in the service but had a few stories that made us all smile and sometimes choked him up. Did anyone no my father? Stan C.Schneidmiller?

Comments: My father never really said much about the war, I was proud of him, he even had a photograph of him underwater with a camera taking a picture of a group of men in a pool, taking a picture of him. I was puzzled as to why he still had his scuba gear, and parachute when I was little. He is deceased,and I wonder at times, how much that he had seen, that really messed his head up. At any rate I am proud of all the men who served in that war. My son is due to go to afghanistan soon, he is in the army. Wish him luck, and any prayers would be cool.

I was 6 years old at the time and my mother has no information for me about my dad during that time in his life. I know that it has been said that he served in the Korean War.
