Michelle Valdes wrote on 2004-10-08 12:24:51.0
Comments: I would like to find "Harry" Harlan Harrison, I don't know which name is first or last, I know he went by Harry and he was with MCB but don't know which one. He was stationed in Subic Bay, Philippines in the early 1950's, certainly in 1954. I believe at the time he had two sons. This man is my grandfather and I would like to know what my heritage is. (Besides being part Filipino) Thanks to anyone who helps me.

Comments: I am working with several other Seabee vets to try to fill in the history of divers assigned to the Seabees. I am particularly interested in the period from WW II through 1974. If you are a Seabee who was a diver, or a 'Fleet' diver who was assigend to a Seabee unit I would like to hear from you. Recently a Seabee Divers Association was formed and we are trying to find as many divers who were Seabees, CEC Officers and Fleet divers who were assigned to Seabee units.
