Comments: I need to know if anyone served or has info on where my grandfather and uncle served in the Korean War. Both came back alive. My grandfather was killed on the side of the road while his car broke down in the US and he was walking to a gas station, on the way to get his papers to leave the Navy. My uncle returned from the war and became a preacher. He died a few years ago from natural causes. Both lived in GA or AL at the time of the war. Not sure which.
